Biking infatuation starts early

This Tour de France video of a father and his child riding next to the race is just way too cool to pass up. I’ve pulled all of my kids on rides for years (individually and all 3 of them together in various creative set-ups with a combination of Burley trailers and/or trail along bikes). In case you missed the blog, here are my recent thots about bicycling.

Recently my 2 oldest children’s legs have grown enough to fit the stoker saddle of our Specialized tandem bicycle. We’ve been tearing up and down the Ozarks of NWA this summer…it is a wonderful time for me to fulfill a dream of many years ago–cycling with my offspring. Start them early!

They are strong healthy kids. Well-balanced, energetic, quick reflexes, never ending stamina, willing to try new things, and a love of life. No doubt they are able to thrive partly because of the fantastic care they receive from their daddy, vitalistic upper cervical specific chiropractor.

And I need to add this little challenge to everyone out there reading this: it is never too late to be your best! You just need to get out there and make a change toward something you want to do (cycling or improved diet or better relationships) and start acting like that someone you want to be (cyclist or health nut or loving parent).

Check out this short clip from the Tour de France!
